Green Concrete Saw Blade

Features: These diamond blades feature tough wear-resistant bonds and hard metal under cutting protection. Best for: Asphalt, Concrete products. Machinery: Walk-behind saw, flat saw. Craftsmanship: Laser welding

Product Description

Undercut Protection Diamond Road Blade - Maximum Segment Life

Advanced Undercut Protection for Severe Abrasive Conditions

Specifically engineered for highly abrasive cutting environments where standard blades suffer rapid steel core erosion. Features 20mm ultra-high segments with J-slot undercut protection design that shields the steel core from abrasive slurry, preventing segment loss due to "undercutting" of the steel plate. The ultimate choice for desert sand aggregates, river gravel concrete, and heavily trafficked asphalt.

Key Features

  • 20mm Segment Height: 30% more diamond content than standard 15mm segments - industry-leading life span
  • Undercut Protection: J-slot design with diamond-impregnated side wings protects steel core from abrasive wear
  • Drop-Segment Prevention: U-shaped segment base increases bonding surface area by 40% vs. rectangular segments
  • Hard Bond Matrix: Engineered cobalt-bronze bond resists wear in abrasive sand and gravel aggregates
  • Core Protection Coating: Carbide wear pads on core sides extend life in severe slurry conditions
  • Deep Cutting Capability: Optimized for cutting depths 250-400mm in single passes

What is Undercutting?

Undercutting occurs when abrasive slurry (water mixed with sand and concrete dust) erodes the steel blade core at the segment base. As the core wears thinner, segments lose support and break off prematurely—often dangerously. Our J-slot design creates a barrier that forces abrasive particles away from the critical core-to-segment junction, while the 20mm height provides extended wear allowance.

Severe Service Applications

  • Desert Construction: Cutting concrete mixed with silica sand (highly abrasive)
  • River Aggregate Concrete: Natural rounded gravel that creates severe abrasion
  • Heavy-Duty Pavement: Airport runways and highways with hard stone aggregates
  • Trench Cutting: Long continuous cuts where blade must last entire shift
  • Quarry Operations: Asphalt and concrete cutting in aggregate processing

Cost-Per-Cut Economics

While 40% higher initial cost than standard blades, the 20mm segment height and undercut protection deliver 2.5-3x longer service life in abrasive conditions. Reduces blade change downtime by 60% on large projects. Recommended for contractors working in severe abrasive environments where blade changes cost more than the blade itself.
