All-Purpose Vacuum Brazed Disc
Product Description
Vacuum Brazed J-Slot Tile Master - Chip-Free Ceramic Cutting
Precision Brazing for Fragile Materials
Specifically engineered for tile setters and stone fabricators who demand chip-free edges on delicate materials. Features a continuous J-slot rim design with fine-grit vacuum brazed diamonds that grind rather than chip through porcelain, ceramic, and glass tiles. The thin kerf and fine diamond exposure prevent the cracking and blowout common with aggressive segmented blades.
Key Features
- J-Slot Continuous Rim: Narrow 2.2mm kerf with J-shaped cooling slots prevents thermal shock in porcelain
- Fine Grit Diamond: 100/120# mesh brazed diamonds for smooth, grinding-action cuts
- Vibration Dampening: Laser-cut core slots reduce harmonic vibration that causes tile cracking
- Heat Management: Side cooling holes dissipate heat during dry cutting of large format tiles
- Chip-Free Guarantee: Continuous rim design eliminates corner chipping on exit cuts
- Ultra-Thin Profile: 1.8mm steel core reduces material waste and cutting resistance

Precision Tile Applications
- Large Format Porcelain: 1200x2400mm tiles without blowout on exit
- Glass Mosaic: Cutting glass tile sheets for backsplashes
- Marble Inlays: Precision detail work on soft stone
- Tile Edge Profiling: Cleaning cut edges before installation
- Socket Cutouts: Electrical box holes in installed tile ( plunge cutting capable)
Chip-Free Cutting Technique
- Face Down: Cut with tile face down (finish side down) for best edge quality
- Scoring Pass: Make shallow 2mm scoring pass first, then full depth cut
- Water Cooling: Use wet sponge on cut line for dry blades to prevent overheating
- Exit Support: Support the waste piece to prevent snapping at exit
- Speed Control: Use variable speed grinder at 8,000-10,000 RPM (not full speed)
Why Vacuum Brazed for Tile?
Unlike sintered blades that require high pressure to expose new diamonds, this brazed blade cuts immediately with light pressure - reducing the vibration that cracks delicate porcelain. The single-layer design means consistent cutting depth without the "wandering" of worn sintered blades.
