Concrete Ring Saw Blade | Vacuum Brazed Diamond

Vacuum Brazed Technology

Single-layer diamond with 90% exposure for aggressive cutting. No dressing required—maintains consistent speed until final millimeter. Ideal for fast material removal in concrete and block.

Deep Cut Capability

370mm diameter cuts 270mm deep; 400mm cuts 300mm deep. Enables single-pass cutting through standard 250mm concrete walls without overcutting corners.

Universal Compatibility

Fits Husqvarna K970 Ring, K760 Ring, Hilti DSH 600/700/900, Makita 4114, Hycon HRS400. Custom adapters available for specialized equipment.

Primary Applications

  • Concrete Wall Openings: Create door/window penetrations in walls up to 300mm thick without overcuts
  • Foundation Modifications: Cut foundation walls for egress windows or utility trenching
  • Bridge & Infrastructure: Bridge deck repairs, parking structure modifications, control joints
  • Masonry Work: Clay brick, concrete block, stone masonry walls (multiple wythes)

Operation Guidelines

Wet vs. Dry: Water cooling extends life by 40% and ensures OSHA silica compliance. Dry cutting suitable only for short duration cuts (<30 seconds) with reduced blade life expectancy.

Reinforced Concrete: Maintain steady feed pressure. Do not force through rebar—allow diamond segments to grind through steel gradually. Expect 30-50% speed reduction when encountering rebar (for heavy rebar, see Demolition tab).

Stone Ring Saw Blade | Continuous Rim Precision

Chip-Free Technology

Continuous rim maintains constant contact with stone surface, eliminating micro-chipping at segment boundaries. Produces polished, factory-quality edges requiring no secondary finishing.

Soft Bond Matrix

Engineered for hard materials (granite 6-7 Mohs). Bond wears continuously exposing fresh diamond crystals, preventing glazing in dense stone while maintaining structural integrity.

Narrow Kerf Efficiency

4.5mm kerf minimizes expensive stone waste. In high-value materials like Calacatta marble or Blue Bahia granite, material savings often exceed blade cost within first few cuts.

Precision Applications

  • Monument Installation: Cut grave markers, headstone bases without edge chipping
  • Countertop Modification: On-site sink openings, faucet holes, edge profiles in 30-50mm slabs
  • Large Format Tile: Cut 1200mm+ porcelain tiles where wet saws cannot accommodate material size
  • Architectural Facades: Exterior cladding stone, window sill modifications

Important: Stone cutting requires continuous water flow (minimum 3 liters/minute) for dust suppression, thermal management (>300°C damages diamonds), and chip removal. Use clean, non-salty water only.

Heavy-Duty Demolition Ring Saw Blade | Laser Welded

Laser Welded Segments

Metallurgical bonds between diamond segment and steel core exceed 1,200 MPa tensile strength. Segments will not detach under extreme heat/shock—critical safety feature for overhead demolition work.

Rebar Cutting Capability

Dual-purpose bond matrix cuts concrete aggregate and steel rebar (up to #8/25mm diameter). Maintains structural integrity when hitting steel—no segment loss.

Hydraulic Saw Rated

Reinforced 3.2mm steel core withstands hydraulic ring saw torque (up to 15HP/150Nm). Precision balanced within 2.5g to reduce operator vibration fatigue.

Professional Demolition Applications

  • Structural Removal: Reinforced concrete walls, columns, beams for building renovation/decommissioning
  • Bridge Infrastructure: Remove damaged deck sections, parapet walls, modify abutments through epoxy-coated rebar
  • Emergency Rescue (USAR): Rapid breaching of reinforced concrete structures—faster than breakers or chainsaws for entry/exit points
  • Nuclear/Industrial Decommissioning: Section contaminated concrete with dust control, precise sectioning of biological shields

Rebar Cutting Technique

  1. Begin cutting in concrete matrix (avoid starting on rebar)
  2. Maintain steady feed rate; do not force the blade
  3. When contacting rebar, reduce pressure by 50%
  4. Allow diamond grit to grind through steel gradually (sparking is normal)
  5. Resume normal pressure once back in concrete

Ring Saw Blade Technical FAQs

How deep can a ring saw cut compared to regular circular saws?

Standard 370mm ring saw blades cut up to 270mm (10.6 inches) deep, while 400mm blades reach 300mm (11.8 inches). This is 4x deeper than standard circular saw blades (typically 65-75mm). The ring saw system also allows cutting without overcutting corners—critical for door/window openings.

What is the difference between vacuum brazed, continuous rim, and laser welded blades?

Vacuum Brazed (Concrete): Single-layer diamond with 90% exposure. Aggressive cutting, fast speed, economical. Good for concrete but not for heavy rebar.

Continuous Rim (Stone): No segments—continuous diamond edge. Prevents chipping in delicate stone. Produces polished edges without secondary finishing.

Laser Welded (Demolition): Segments permanently fused to core with laser. Withstands extreme shock and heat. Mandatory for overhead cutting and rebar—segments cannot detach, ensuring operator safety.

Will the stone blade chip marble or granite?

No. Our continuous rim design specifically prevents chipping. Unlike segmented blades that cause micro-chipping at segment boundaries, the continuous rim maintains smooth contact. For extremely brittle stones, reduce feed rate by 20% and ensure adequate water flow.

Can I use one blade for concrete, stone, and rebar?

While technically possible, using the wrong blade type reduces efficiency and safety:

  • Stone blade (soft bond) in concrete wears 70% faster
  • Concrete blade hitting heavy rebar risks segment loss
  • Demolition blade works in all materials but leaves rougher finish in stone

For mixed work, the Demolition/Laser Welded blade is the most versatile safe choice, though not optimal for aesthetic stone work.

What water flow is required for wet cutting?

Minimum 3 liters per minute for all wet cutting applications. Stone cutting requires consistent flow to prevent thermal damage (>300°C destroys diamond crystals). Demolition cutting produces heavy slurry—ensure adequate drainage or slurry collection system.

Do you offer custom sizes or private labeling?
